Quote

The British prime minister Boris Johnson has delivered his inaugural speech to the UN General Assembly just hours after the UK supreme court found his advice to the Queen to prorogue parliament was unlawful. Speaking to a sparse audience late on Tuesday night about the challenges of technology, Johnson painted a dystopian view of the future of technology, asking: 'AI – what will it mean? Helpful robots washing and caring for an ageing population? Or pink-eyed terminators sent back from the future to cull the human race?'

The guy is off his fucking rocker...

So the far left were full of good intentions on their way to murdering close to one quarter of a billion people. Many of those from starving to death.

but I guess the great Leap forward the Holodomor and countless other tries at far left policy implementation just weren't done right.

If only Marxism was implemented correctly we would all live in rainbow land.

I'm talking about U.S. politics, where U.S. Democrats are slightly to the right of the CDU in Germany when it comes to social welfare policies.

But if it makes you feel better, keep on comparing apples and dictatorships.

No you mentioned far left. So you actually think the far left actually mean well?. I mean 250 000 000 deaths is really just a drop in the ocean if you get to implement your Utopia.

This is extraordinarily sad to see that some people see themselves with a high moral superiority whilst supporting extermination.

This yet another big problem that Trump has caused.

People now seem to believe that the Democrats are a caring party. They also had years to sort out many problems but they were also too influenced by businesses and money.

They are just the best of a bad bunch.

Democratic Socialists CAN tell them apart. Plenty of them saw the light after Stalin, after the Hungarian Uprising, Soviet troops in Czechoslovakia, during Mao’s reign of terror etc. Equally, many Socialists, Liberals and many small c Conservatives throughout the world were and are horrified by the Far Right dictatorships in eg Pinochet’s Chile, Stroessner’s Paraguay , dictatorships throughout Africa and Asia. Nearly forgot the Nazis and the Fascists.
NO Far anything- except a balanced, progressive society, a mixture of public and private business/es, equality before the law, the right to education and health regardless of ability to pay, no legal discrimination because of skin colour, faith or none, gender, age, nationality.
And debate and more jaw jaw. More citizen involvement in political issues and no unnecessary violence - except in genuine cases where people have to defend themselves from State brutality/ enforced colonialism - if need be.

based on your pay slip you can judge who the champagne socialists are. If only someone would show their payslip.

That is not clear from your original post. You did not refer to the US. You just stated Far Left, Far Right and centrists ( sarcastically?).

The world is not so easy. People! Sometimes, people somewhere around middle or above average  income can be liberal because they can afford it. And some people have a genuine heart for the weaker. And some on low income are kind- hearted and some are vicious.
And some wish for a better world and have an education which can help.

And some don’t care.
Complicated.
