Because this is an open forum and she has something to say. Why does this annoy you so much?

Do you not find her posts tedious?

I find lots of people's posts tedious, but that's okay, I don't have to like everyone.  We all have a right to our opinion and to express them on an open forum.

Do not read them.  Or put her on ignore.

This is not an open forum.

You are only allowed to post what the moderators allow you to post.

No, it isnt an Open forum... it is controlled...

As for why it annoys people so much?  Just click on Swimmers profile and look at what she actually writes...

Lots of it is "High management" text... Lots of words that have absolutely zero content at all... or a repetition of whats already been said by herself or another TTer recently..

Or they are full of text that absolutely zero sense at all!...

Lets wait for Metall to come and call me a Negative Nancy...

I am a high manager .   Very high one.   Honestly you guys do love to get your knickers in a twist.   I would not sweat this sort of stuff myself.

Have another good day on Brexit all.

Work for companies?  I would never do that .  No need. Not my thing.  So easy to get basic premises wrong.

Have not got anything from my Landkreis yet.  What would suit me would be I could apply for German Citizenship before 29 March , and then be allowed time to brush up my knowledge German and Citizenship test-wise (which would not take that long) but also to improve my finances (which would take a lot longer).  I am reliant on my husband for most income and all of health insurance, and he is not German.  Any chance?!

If you dont work for companies... then who do you work for?

If you arent employed by a company, I find it hard to beleive you could be a manager or a "Very high one" as you call it...

Then do it it you can.  At least ask them, perhaps asap.  Take a look at the forms if they are available on the web and get on filling them out.   They take a bit of time to pull the info together but they in no way complex. Finance does not mean shedloads of money, they just want you solvent and able to the typical possible demands of a normal life.

It is good that these letters are at least reminding Britons to do this if they can and want

Just get on and take the test! (check out your local VHS for possible dates)

You only need to get 17 questions out of 33 correct in order to pass!

You need B1 which is not 17 questions.

I would get myself down to the nearest hbf and start blowing soap bubbles on random people. That would prove that your German.

If you're lucky, maybe you can get some people to blow bubbles at you come March 30th.

Or maybe they'll just fling poo. I know I would.

They are talking about the citizenship test, not the German language test.
