Hey Rob, depending on what time you buy the ticket, depends on how much the ticket will cost. It's a smart idea, being that rush hour travel costs more than travel throughout the day.

I do know that a day ticket bought at 10:00 is 4.70 Euro ... and can be used on all trams, buses & trains in zone 50 (Frankfurt).

The countryside is where uncooked animals live

:)

The first thing thought when I 1st came to Germany was.."wheres all the animals??" meaning cows, sheep and the farming variety. I was quite saddened to find out that most are all crammed into wooden huts and the only time their allowed out is on route to Penny Markt and the likes :( ..and no ,not to go shopping lol
