Ah, that's a pity. He's great playing the role of George's father in Seinfeld.

I don't think I've ever seen him in a movie. I only remember back in the day when he and his wife, Anne Meara, were a great comedy team. She passed 5 years ago.

I always liked him. His role in Seinfeld is iconic and still stands the test of time, IMO. (When not all of Seinfeld does, tbh)

I hated King of Queens, but Stiller was the only thing that made it bearable.

I loved King of Queens and his role and performance were a masterpiece. He was about to retire when he got the role and it was genius.

Actor Michael Angelis, 76 RIP

though I think 68.  Think his brother Paul Angelis (d 2009) would be 76 now.

You're correct, the BBC got his age wrong, but then again you can't really believe much of what Auntie Beeb says these days...

Not just the bbc.  Wikipedia was updated.  Sloppy research done fast.  Anyway, both were great!

Welsh singer, Ricky Valance, has died aged 84.

Valance, who was born David Spencer, became the first Welshman to have a solo UK Number One hit with the song Tell Laura I Love Her in 1960.

From the BBC

I used to have the old 45 record of that song. A real tear jerker.

A colleague of my late father passed away:

Duilio Arigoni was a Swiss chemist and Emeritus Professor at ETH Zurich.

I recall him visiting my father in Manchester - must have been in the 1970s - and having dinner at our house.
