We've just bought personalised number plates for iur company car. We werr given a choice by the Amt and one choice I wanted was 1068 at the end. Accepted. I think and hope that was the year William the Conqueror banned slavery in England!😂

For some reason Art Garfunkel (81) is missing...

Seems like selected editing.

Townsend is there (but not Daltrey 78). Plant is there (but not Page 79, or JPJ 77, who's still going strong with TCV).

And why is Jagger there, but not Richards 104?

In all seriousness, too many of my idols, and the soundtracks of my youth, have passed away in the last couple of years.

It'd be great to see the same list in 2024 with everyone +1.

Maddy Prior - 75

I'll see your Maddy Prior 75, and raise you a Patti Smith 76.

From back in the day...

She was a huge soundtrack to my youth, as was Television (Tom Verlaine) for all our American music watchers.

Video is a good watch for a rare, and energetic, 25th Floor live.

I've met Maddy Prior a number of times (people are like flies around her after a concert).

We used to claim "the longest distance to the concert".

Here at the "New Theatre" in Oxford in 2004, also with Peter Knight (now 75)

Not funny at all IMO.  I couldn’t get through 5 minutes of it becuz all Piers does is ask loaded questions and then promptly proceed to loudly interrupt/talk over the person while the question is being answered.  No learning can take place if no listening occurs.  Very 😞.

I dislike loudness as such these days ( hettibg older)🙃 and he is way too loud for my current sensitivites.

Anyway, it just makds me smile that we are talking about 100 genders as though poverty in the world qnd war and stuff were not more important.

Please gorgive typos.

I used to see Robert Plant in and around the village and local pubs, I probably wouldn't recognise him now
