Kids!

We are currently in Hamburg with little dog Roza and staying with a friend. Our big dog Timmy from Crete has been living here for a few years at our friend‘s.

Out with Roza and Timmy just now - and some children asked if they could touch the dogs, if they bite etc. „ Don‘t worry.. they love children!“

And one little girl asked their ages.. „ Roza is about 13 and Timmy is about 8 or 9.“

Little girl: „ if Timmy is younger, why is he about 10 times bigger than Roza?“

😂

Good question!! 😂

Oh, I remember that one. I got the same chill bumps like I did the first time.

Are they still doing flash mobs? Haven't seen any lately.

BRING BACK FLASH MOBS!

“Dylan turns eighty today—don’t you think it’s finally time you forgave him for going electric?”

I was at one of the two December 1965 concerts Dylan gave in Berkeley, breaking out his electric guitar for the second set. It was a shock, but he wasn't booed.  No forgiveness is necessary.
I wish I could share this cartoon with the friend who took me to the concert; sadly, he died of Covid-19 a year ago.

The day started undefined.

Had my morning coffee and read the (internet) papers.

Nice weather but all I did to enjoy it were brief visits to my balcony.

Only to see that some lovely fellow got rid of his huge (got damn how old is this thing?) satellite dish,
his cupboard, his vacuum and a big suitcase right in front of my house.

Well it's not mine house but after 20 years you feel such.

A listless start followed by listless hours.

At 6:20 pm I decided that enough is enough (mostly driven by the fact that I ran out of tobacco - and 'a beer would be cool too').

Thing is ... for some time now 'Spätis' (little shops that sell essentials and used to be open 24/7/365) must close on Sundays or such.

Scary if the addiction bites.

Ok - I know one who opens at least till now. A daredevil.

My day's savior. Got some tobacco and beer.

And went to the 'Flugfeld' (the former Airport Tempelhof).
It turned out to become a lovely day.

First

of all - green - it was green - the last years it was a grayish green.
We had a cool and wet spring this year.

Second

it's clean, tidy
was not so at the beginning (after the airport was opened to the public)
but over the years - people simply leave their sides as pristine as found.
NO JOKE
smile
I mean - how many were there today?
5000 or so minimum.
And I could count litter with one hand.

Third

I saw some lovely female beings and had to extra smile

and

it was a nice sunset

It was... wholesome.
But I'm scared of nuns, too, I've seen many times how roughly nun nurses treat their patients.
