Posted 27 Oct 2013 lots of posts on where to find English style bacon, which I like a lot and buy on occasion, but does anyone have a clue where to find American style bacon that isn't cut so thin it's see through? I miss real bacon My son prefers American bacon nice and crispy. I always buy Herta Breakfast bacon. Can get in from Kaufland and toom. I am sure other supermarkets have it as well Rashers are great. American style. Kleinemas bacon is good as well, as is Tulip.
Posted 30 Oct 2013 No bacon thread can be complete without the Bacon Explosion : http://www.bbqaddicts.com/blog/recipes/bacon-explosion/ That takes the term "food porn" to a whole new level. I mean this as a compliment.
