Yep! They were on the forms for a private Greek insurance company called Aspro when I used to offer it to Greeks living in Germany and foreigners living in Greece.

so do the left-handed mobsters have to pay higher premiums because of the higher risks associated with their daily lives?  Gangsters are one thing, but no one chooses to be left-handed... crazy!

Left- handers pay more! ( I am a left- hander but don‘t have private Greek health insurance!)

Because „ we „ are considered more accident-prone! Or more prone to becoming schizophrenic or whatever!😂

( Only the matter is definitely true!)

I appear not to be able to fill out that form of yours correctly then, as they need to add a box to tick for the 1% of people who are mixed-handed. :)

When did people stop saying „ ambidextrous?“

They didn't. That isn't the same thing at all. I'm mixed-handed not ambidextrous. ;)

Cross-dominance or mixed-handedness is the change of hand preference between tasks. This is very uncommon in the population with about a 1% prevalence.

Ambidexterity, equal ability to use both hands, is rare. A completely ambidextrous person is able to do any task equally well with either hand. Those who learn it still tend to favour their originally dominant hand.

Left-handedness is far less common than right-handedness. Left-handed people are more skilful with their left hands when performing tasks. Studies suggest that approximately 10% of the world population is left-handed.

Ah like the famous cricketer Stuart Broad who always bowls right handed but bats left handed.

It is a right handed world and I do agree with @john g. that left handers are more accident prone. Try opening one of those luncheon meat tins that come with a key to wind a strip of the can away, piece of cake for a right hander, juggling with razor blades for a left hander!

And yes luna I always guessed you to be a cross dominant.

I know, keith! Funny thing is- yesterday I managed to open a tin of corned beef with the key! I think only the second time in my whole life!

Back to school days- played hockey only once. The sticks were solely for right handers!

Bless the great Stuart Broad!👍🏼

Do those things still exist? How long have you had that tin? Don't tell me, you brought it with you when you first left the UK. :)

You could have ordered it on Amazon to avoid going out and putting the mask on. :)

I have a 15 Euro Amazon Gutschein but can‘t be bothered. I will wait till my partner Nicole is back from Hamburg! She will know what to buy! I expect the total bill to be a couple of hundred more, though! Certain jewellery and make- up stuff and boots are not available on Crete!😂

By the way, back on topic!  Minimum apartment size for a family? Add a room for Nicole’s shoe collection! Gotta love her💋💋💋

Well, I knew I was walking into that one when I posted. It was just a question of who... ;)

Why do you have to go there? Can't they be bothered to bring you your post in Greece?!

Have you ever been to Greece, luna?😂

Bring the post? That involves movement from A to B!

Got some „ normal snail mail „ post yesterday. Not at our address, though. At the mini- market! „ John, for you.“😂

In our village there are no street names! If the post guy Manoli is on holiday- change of plan😂

It has an extremely cute side! Very personal!

Update- hoping to feed a cat secretly . At this time of the evening, some workers next door have arrived to install air/ conditioning.

“ why now?“

„ Telos.“ ( perfect )

Ok, cooler now.. but please bugger off.. Angus needs food and medication and he won’t be waiting in the tree if the workers are there.”

Bugger off, malakos!

😂

They have finally buggered off and the evil deed is done!

Yippee!

As an aside- retiring/ retired Germans come here because it‘s not Greece and Greeks go to live in Germany because it is not Greece.
