Where to buy pets in Berlin?

7 posts in this topic

Try the Berlin animal shelter first.

A cat will cost you between 65 and 85 euros. (link to cats) A rabbit costs 20 euros while a chinchilla is 25 euros. Web site doesn't say how much a hamster would cost, but probably 20-25 euros. (link to a few of the small pets available) Turtles and other reptiles are also available. (link to reptiles and exotics)

Please note that the shelter has many more pets available than what they show online so a visit in person is best.

I really recommend thinking about your choices

(and i say that also from own experience)

Hamsters - livespan about 2y, make loooooooots of noise in the middle of the night.

Turtles - livespan 10-120 years, quite long so to speak, cant cuddle them, they are no playpets, get boring fast

So before you get a pet, seriously think about waht your doing.

A pet is a living being. Not a product.

Just saying.

Pets can be great pleasure though.
