Sorry you're poor, sadness.personified.

Sucks to be you, I guess.

Wait a moment, Jeff, you claim to be a socialist, or at least espouse socialist views. You claim to help refugees 1-2 hours a week. You also moderated this forum heavily until recently when you were fired from that non-paying job. You posted your salary 2 weeks ago on here (I wonder what your wife thought of that) claiming to earn over 100,000 Euros a year. Well good for you. do you know how much I earn? Nothing. Zilch. Does it bother me? Nope. Last job I earned 12 Euros an hour cutting grass for a sweet old lady every few weeks, as she was too weak to do it herself. However do you know how many holidays I had this year? Four. Cote d'Azur (toless beaches), then Massif Central (France, then Dordorgne, the lately Cinque Terre, Italy). I stopped taking the corporate shilling years ago and don't miss it.

Enjoy being rich boy.

That's because you're a golddigger. You married into wealth. At least I earned mine.

Hope you enjoy your life. I mean that sincerely. Because you obviously don't.

Newsflash for you micropenis. Not everybody who has wealth makes fun of poor people and not everybody who has wealth throws the fact into people's faces.

Also another fact: Middle management investment bankers make more money than freelance translators but did you hear me boast about this until you started bragging about your daddy's trust fund? But I guess you can't stand a woman 20 years younger than you doing better than you so you have to tell yourself I work as a nurse in a retirement home (nothing wrong with this job unlike what you said) even though I don't have nearly as much time to post as you do.

Only he wasn't fired. ;) El Jeffo was tired of dealing with the trolls here and voluntarily stepped back from said unpaid moderation job.

But hey, truth is overrated anyway. ;)

ME? A gold digger? Are you utterly joking? That is one of the funniest things I have ever read in years. Ain't telling you what I have - unlike you gentlemen don't openly discuss their financial stuff as it is considered extremely low class. But anyone I know offline knows I am certainly not a gold digger. Wife's family was extremely wealthy, but lost the castle FYI. Many of the nobility did lose their land.

btw here is a pop video Jeff made earlier...

Gentlemen also don't wail online about not getting enough sex. Bashing just about any minority is bad form, too.

"Recently" is an odd way of referring to several years ago, too. I guess time flies when you're perpetually drunk.

Oh yes it is Friday morning. I have a glass of whisky and I'm sat in my dressing gown, bleary eyed.

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding naturalisation in Germany. I will be made redundant at the end of June and was told I would be on unemployment benefits right after. I could totally find a new job immediately, working as a software engineer, but it's not the worst thing in the world to take some time off either. I was wondering if being on unemployment benefits for a while would affect my chance of getting citizenship, assuming that at the time of application I will be working. If anyone knows about this please inform me. Thank you!

From what I read your naturalisation will not be affected by receiving unemployment benefits (ALG I). You might not get ALG I though if you don´t accept a job offered to you as it´s not meant to fund sabbaticals. It´s meant only for those who want to work but can´t find a job.

Not sure this is the correct thread, but I have been going through god knows how many trying to find the right answer. Or at least direction.

Like many I am also in this desperate search for an apartment in Berlin for my family. I start working next Monday in Mitte and have a place for a few weeks but I am absolutely getting nowhere with apartments.

From the apartment boards like immobilienscout24, immowelt, etc, etc I only seem to be coming up with places that are totally on the edge of being SCAMS. I am being nice there with not saying outright SCAMS.

Is it not possible to find a Makler who works for me? My wife who is German is also having a hard time finding one. Sure there is some exceptionally expensive ones of the super rich but that is about all I found.

Basically we are looking for a 3 room, 2 bedroom for my wife and I, and our son (1.5 years).

German is not the issue as she is native.

Thanks for any tips.

Hi there,

I've a bit of a unique situation and was wondering if you guys could advise. I moved to Berlin about a month and a half ago to work for a company who sorted me out with Anmeldeung and put me up in their apartment for two months, that's where i'm registered.

I've quit recently and they advised that i de-register at city hall, ive signed upto a sublease but i can't use that as an my new registration address and I'm hesitant to de-register and say I'm back to my home country (in the EU) as i'd imagine not being registered here will make it harder to get a new job.

Does anyone have any advice on this?

cheers!

Thought I'd ask here incase something similiar has been covered before.
