Cisco CCNA certification

Probably a long shot but I was wondering if anyone has taken a Cisco CCNA training course and certification in Munich, in English :-) alternatively somewhere in the UK ?

 

Any recommendations for good training companies ?

I did the training at Staffordshire university in England. I'm not sure where in Munich does them but the exams have to be taken in either English or Japanese, as much as i remember, so i'm sure most training centres here would be teaching the course in English. Just go onto Ciscos website for useful contact information and local training centres.

last did the CCNA in 2000 via Self Study but i put most of it down to experience and having TCP/IP drummed into me with smatterings of IPX and AppleTalk ..sad life

 

A mate of mine though did a boot camp course at Training Camp in the UK last year ...exam has apparently gotten a lot harder but he recommended the course and the company.

 

I have used Training Camp as well for two boot camps in different IT areas and have been impressed with the trainers and the course content. There is a German branch Trainingcamp.de but don't know if they do English courses in Deutschland ...worth calling them as they do use international trainers ...the only courses/seminars I have done here have been auf deutsch...

 

Does the Cisco site not state a list of training partners in Deutschland that may be worth checking to see if they provide a CCNA auf englisch ?

I've just been given a load of old CCNA test exams papers if you want

 

The CCNA exam was changed recently to include even more theory that you will never actually use. Guess I should also get around to doing my CCNA and CCDA. Am already working up towards the CCNP, but cannot get that until you have the CCNA !

 

As for where, any test center, but you have to specify English as I remember. As you can also do it in German ! But these tests are all on-line, so the test center can download anyone you need, with the right pre-notice. You have to order this I think 48 hours before !

I'm currently looking into courses for CCNA in Stuttgart or in Munich, so if anyone has any recent experience with regards to training and/or sitting exams please feel free to share it.
