Help needed with Deutsche Bank online banking

12 posts in this topic

So I have received all of my details in the post today.

I'm having trouble with many things.

Firstly, what's the bloody URL for online banking?!?!

Is it this?

https://meine.deutsche-bank.de/trxm/db/

Secondly, branch number. Where can I find that? I wish all the documentation was in English... they knew I was English when I signed up.

Secondly, it says account.

Account what?! Account number? I have one, but it's 12 digits.

Sub account... what??

The only damn thing that makes sense is 'PIN'.

Please help me, had a long day at work.

Thanks!

Yeah thats the URL.

The second string of numbers on your ec/debit card is your account number. The branch code they would have given you on a little blue card along with your account number and the banks number for internet wires.

the first 3 digits of your 12 digit number should be the branch, the 2nd 7 are the account # and the last 2 are the sub account (usually 00) and the pin, you should get in the post, if not, just request one.

They are one of the few banks here that allow you to switch to English on their menu.

www.db.com > English > Client Login > on-line banking > 3 digit Branch > 7 digit account > 5 digit pin : enter.

To transfer money you must also have your TAN codes from a printed page. 5 digit numbers from 1 - 100.

And? Do you think you deserve special treatment because you are English?

Once you've got your access codes and a few TANs post here. I'm sure someone here would be happy to test them for you.

Did you ask them for English documentation? DB is fairly helpful that way.

Then again, they are a German bank in Germany and expect people to speak German, no matter where they come from.

If you have got your TAN list, its specified there too.

Look for Filialnummer (= Branch Number) and Kontonummer(= account number). Sub account is usually 00 and PIN you already have.

Once you've logged in you can switch to English version by clicking on "English version" in the upper left hand corner.

Strange, mine defaults to English and I have to switch it to German. Not that I'm bothered either way, but we are all used to the German version and prefer using it.

when we signed up for the bank, there was a point where they set a language for us. They must've set you to English.
