Where to buy Rice Krispies cereal in Munich

But do they have Rice Krispies? I don't see them in the picture.

Same difficulties around here, I used to find them in some Edeka supermarkets, but not recently.

Yep, our Edeka had them for a short while too but they have since disappeared. Never seen them at our Netto.

When I first moved to Germany over 20 years ago I wrote to Kellogg's Deutschland asking where I could buy Rice Krispies and why they were so hard to find. They said they were not a good seller here and I guess that is still the case.

Perhaps we should all write to Kelloggs and ask them to keep supplying Rice Krispies. I find it odd that they (were/are) not a big seller as the packets always seemed to be depleted on the shelves when I went to buy them. Somebody was buying them apart from me!

Not sweet enough? ;)

Everything I see in the picture above is an absolute sugar bomb. I actually refused cereal as a teenager when I noticed I got the shakes from them, and demanded a sandwich.

Hi I'm completely new on this forum. I have been searching all over the place for Rice Krispies, as I have a bowel condition and at times it is one of the very few things I can eat. My local supermarket (Rewe) pretty much always had them in stock, but then, at some point, they were sold out and they didn't get them back. My husband wrote to Kellogg's and they said they are no longer selling them in Germany.

I've found them to import, but it's SO expensive. I would happily join if other people wanted to write to or petition Kellogg's.

I have recently be looking for Rice Krispies and also have found them to not exist. The closest thing are Choco Krispies. But is there anything similar under a different name? (Not Puffedreis!) that can be used to make Rice Krispy treats?

The closest thing I have found is to make them myself but it seems like a lot of work:

I bought mine at REAL Supermarkt or EDEKA. You can also buy them at Amazon.

Hello,

Anyone know where I can get rice krispies? I've been looking in all the stores (Edeka, Aldi, Tengleman) and the only thing I see is choco krispies. I'm looking for the regular ones. I'm pregnant and have low appetite, regular rice krispies is one of the few things I can stomach.

Unfortunately, you can't get Rice Krispies in Germany any more.  The only option is one of the online British food sites or Amazon.

The closest thing would probably be Gepufft Reis but they aren't as crispy.  Rapunzel do a Bio one

Or you could try this dubious sounding recipe for home made.

If not, perhaps you could try change your craving to a more traditional one such as gherkins, which are available in abundance here.

They are available in NL at Albert Heijn, https://www.ah.nl/zoeken?rq=rice+krispies&searchType=product

They are available in B at Delhaize: http://www.delhaize.be/nl-be/shop/Zoete-kruidenierswaren/Ontbijt/Ontbijtgranen/Ontbijtgranen-7C-Rijstkorrels-7C-Gepoft-Gegrild/p/S1987120200045630000

They are available in CH at Coop: https://www.coopathome.ch/de/Kellogg%27s/Kellogg%27s-Rice-Krispies/p/4822812

SO you just need to find a fellow TTer who is either in NL, B or CH regularly and is willing to buy them there for you.
