@sarabyrdand I just happen to be watching (and enjoying) Elvis has Left the Building - Kim Basinger and John Corbett. We're chuckling and smiling.

Someones answer to the question "Do you sing?"

"

"Quite well, actually. It might be what I’m best known for, especially at church.

But as a guest on “A Prairie Home Companion” put it, “Everyone should sing.

Because if the Good Lord saw fit to give you a beautiful voice, it’s a nice way to say ‘Thank you.’

And if the Good Lord didn’t see fit to give you a beautiful voice, it’s a nice way to get even.”

"

I skyped at the weekend with a client and went through a questionnaire for him to take to a doc today for a check up.

I pointed out about 3,000 times that ALL questions were to be answered! " The average doc misses 4-6 of the questions, you know."

" Message understood, John."

So  he emailed  me the doc report today... EIGHT missing... 😂

Erm...size 4 would be a child.

Even worse.

In fairness, he doesn't work there, so he likely doesn't know a size 4 from a size 11 petite.

I have to laugh... you couldn't make it up... a couple of months after an eye op in hospital on the bad eye and another on the "good " eye at my eye doc's and then getting a prescription for new glasses and then picking up the street glasses a few days ago, I was just about to go out and pick up my new reading glasses this afternoon -  when the hospital phoned. " We want to operate on your retina in the left eye " ( (the good one).  on Marxh 1st with three nights' stay.

( Getting a second opinion at my eye doc's next week).

If they operate, it will be back to square one re reading and seeing in the streets for months...

Who to believe? The eye doc ( an excellent one ) or the Chefarzt at the hospital ( also an excellent surgeon)?

From last nights USA State of The Union address, good ol MTG (marjorie taylor green 'baboon' aka ' Cruella de Vil), reliably obnoxious and trashy, but always a laugh

More anxiety for you.  Discuss the pros and cons with your Eye MD. It may be that the good eye will deteriorate if you do not have surgery.

Glad to see you found the spell checker I suggested!! I keep turning off the predictive text- I hate when AI tries to change my words!!
