Read this story today in FB.  This British guy stayed 4.5 weeks in Berlin in an AirBnB and now he is back home and the owner of the flat made a complaint to AirBnB claiming the plants were not watered as agreed and now he/she is looking for 600 EUR compensation.  The guest says he watered the plants as agreed but he is no horticulturist (gardener would be an easier word).   Someone made a comment saying something like:  Tell me your landlord is German without telling me your landlord is German.

Yes. This really annoys me too. When in Germany, speak German. When we, as English speakers, speak German, people often reply in English. I find this rude.

I find it funny.   The really funny ones are when they do not acknowedge you are speaking German.  Does not happen to me much, but it really is like the Little Britain thing when it happens.  I have reversed this sometimes to the most annoying, wonderful.   Really if they are being shitty, and speaking bad English back, do this.  It is very funny.   For anyone who does not know the LB setup

You can't make this stuff up. She's at it again -

    • Marjorie Taylor Greene baselessly claimed that trans men are causing the current tampon shortage.

    • The lawmaker said on her podcast that trans men are "buying tampons," hence the shortage.

    • Global supply chain issues and consumer demand are the real reasons behind the shortfall.
