German public toilets

in bremen, i know of some restaurants displaying 'Nette Toilete' sticker which menas they are freely available to all and not only to the customer of that restuarant. I like this concept, i think the city pays the restaurant money for maintenance, eg in The Burgerhaus at viertel, Bremen. Dont know if such a thing is there in Munich.

I once wanted to use the toilet in Harrods, it would have cost 10 quid! Do they have an attendant who shakes off the last drop for you?

I don't think they still do, Nick. I didn't have to pay a few years ago.

I've had no problems using restaurant toilets in Munich. Took me a while to get used to it without buying anything but they don't seem to mind.
