Non-alcoholic cribbage and dominoes meetup

I have yet to meet a single person in this town who knows or loves the game of cribbage. Numerous attempts to conscript my friends and loved ones here in Berlin to my cribbage army have all failed miserably. I have a board and of course a deck of cards, now all I need are other people who LOVE cribbage. I'm talking let's-sit-down-and-play-at-least-five-games-of-crib love. The more cutthroat you are about the game, the better. Other people with boards would be most welcome, because then we can organize a whole herd of crib-lovers to battle each other at the mother of all wooden board slash card games, Cribbage.

 

Also seeking Muggins (dominoes) addicts, and of course by "addict" I mean "has no problem playing multiples games of 300."

 

I think I'm a budding alcoholic though and trying my darndest to stay off the sauce, so as much as I want to get to know each and every one of you, I'd really appreciate meeting up with some people who don't mind sitting around drinking Club Mates or coffee or anti-freeze or something... we can still go to a bar, but if you're getting wasted it'll be harder for me to Just Say No. I do still chain-smoke though so hopefully that'll make up for some of my lost street cred.

 

I live in Kreuzkölln so would like to meet up with folks who also want to hang in the Neukölln/Kreuzberg/Friedrichshain/Treptow parts of the world.

Hey, I play Cribbage. Even have a board but it's been a while since I played. Grew up playing the game in Canada. I think it is required learning in school.

Sounds splendid, 15-2 15-4 look for a month and there ain't no more. I love Cribbage and would definitely be up for joining your Cribbage extravaganza, even if alcohol is banned. I shall bring a secret hip flask to accompany my chain smoking habit. Have found it very hard to find fellow Cribbers too. I will not be back in Berlin till the end of the month but will track the thread down then and hope you are still playing. Great idea.

Ps: I have a board and a box of matches too.
