Our Usual weekly meet up:

We are a group of Expats and the friends who tolerate us ( it is not all about Drinking). We meet weekly to chat and trade adventures.

Our meetings are every Thursday night (Except when Hollywood Comedy Night is the Wednesday prior), then we attend Hollywood Comedy Night.

 

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us. As a group we mostly speak English but we are not all Native English speakers, there is a broad range of people turning up each week.

 

We enjoy meeting new people, Welcome Other Expats feeling Lost in Cologne; as well as anyone who is just interested.

We sit at the tables to the Wall- If there is a Band (sometimes there is one), We Move into the smoking area (directly to the left through the glass doors), so we can listen to the music but still chat. Thursday Nights the Pub is not usually to full but Wait staff knows who we are if you do not see us.

This week is a Special Week and There will be a Live Band

 

We Pondered Moving Venues but decided we Just Love Flanigans to Much to go somewhere else.

-So we will be Moving our Meet into the smoking area. This way we can Enjoy The Music and still Chat

There is a 4 euro entrance fee for the Live band BUT Flanagans is giving us a discount of Two Euros

OR If you get to Flanagans before 19:00 you get in Free.

Hi there, I am new in Cologne. Although I am a bit of a light weight when it comes to drinking on a school night I am really looking forward to coming out to meet everyone there this Thursday. It is still on right? How many people generally turn up?

Hi DesBhatt,

Yes we meet every week except when there is a Hollywood Comedy Night, 21st and 28th of October is the next Hollywood's Comedy Night, then we attend this and do not hold a Thursday meeting BUT on That week we are also having a Halloween Costume Party at a Differant Place.

Roughly anywhere from 10 to 30 people show up for TNDC and the Numbers are growing. This week we will be in the smoking area- Come down the Stairs through the Glass Doors or ask the Bar staff- they will point you in the right Direction.

Sam Hogarth: Has Invited us to come see his first jazz gig in Cologne with a pianist called Clemens Orth, at Stecken, Maastrichter Str 11, between Rudolfplatz and Friesenplatz. The cover is 3€. It starts around 11pm. Stecken does not have a web Page But Sam Gave us a Link-
