Sunday 14th December will be grey and cold but not yet fatal. So let's wrap warm and have a quick out-and-backie.

 

We shall start at Ludwigsbrücke, cycle for about an hour away from the hurls-burly and stop for some breakfast somewhere appropriate. Then we shall cycle back to town, by a differentish route, and have a late lunch. Then go home as it gets dark.

 

The route will be decided on the day.

Surfaces: mix of minor roads and gravel paths.

I'm sorry you missed the message. But on days like this you always should check for updates. Cold, precipitation (it's just started snowing), and wind-chill are each a problem when encountered singly. Taken together, they are a nasty risk that I didn't want to take.
