Maybe someone will be interested in making an offer for the unbelievable watch deal Watch with real Diamonds in conjunction with this fantastic projector.

Afterall, the seller (same for both) seems very keen to sell "for the right price".

You wouldn't by any chance have a spare Rolls-Royce would you? I need a cheap motor to do the shopping in. Must have MOT, tax and original receipt (Ha ha)

I stick my nose into 101 topics and sometimes you get a more or less reasonably formed opinion rather than undisputable facts.

This however, is precisely my specialist subject, material management in electronics.

What follows is my professional opinion and not intended to be personal comment about anyone:

I do indeed have friends interested in purchasing second hand projectors so I said that in good faith

and requested the first three digits of serial number which the advertiser PMed me.

The model itself is no longer in the product portfolio of the manufacturer.

The partial serial number I received indicates that this unit was manufactured in 2003.

For the low number of hours claimed to have been used, the unit must have spent a long time not being used in the last six years.

Even if the number of hours useage is correct there is no gurantee that the unit won't fail.

If it does fail there is NO warranty on this product any more.

Very low useage is a factor in determining warranty but by now the time limits have been exceeded.

This model is still in use out in the market and comes from a manufactuer with a reputation for quality.

But I think the examples posted of prices over €1000-1800 were ludicrously high.

The 80% price difference on the two links suggests to me that they aren't necessarily updated.

Bearing in mind that I assume this is one shot business for an aged end of life product I would question the

judgement of an individual who even considered paying more than (say) €200.

And my un-professional opinion:
