Trust me when I tell you, it look WORSE when worn:

 

 

It's especially crap as it puts you leaning back and all the weight on your heel - which I also buggered in the crash, so it's no solution for me.

 

Plus even more dumber, you get zero protection for the frigging toe - so would be piss easy to whack it again.
