Munich TT Christmas Party 2008 - the aftermath

29 posts in this topic

Sarabyrd, thank you so much for organising this party! I had a great time - loved listening to the orchestra, the choir, and the voices of so many people enjoying themselves.

Hope I didn't disgrace myself by drinking too much, fondling too many people's balloons, or leaving too early :) Would have stayed on but for...moan, moan, moan..

Have a lovely Xmas and a great New Year's and see you all soon!

Missed the orchestra sadly. :(

Was a fun night out and good to see my favourite Asian / Brit has now started to eat and get bumpy bits again. :)

By the way, the handcuffs were very comfortable ladies. ;)

If you want anything removed just drop me a PM.

If you want me not to take your photo at all you can feel free to steam up to me in the pub and make your demands in an aggressive fashion. ;)

If you did steam up to me in the pub and demand that I not take your photo, but would still like a copy of the shot because it was actually quite a good one, then feel free to drop me a PM.

A close second, my pictures are up as well. Ditto what Man Keydeck says except for the aggressive demands, people were begging me to take their pictures.

Sorry that some of them are blurry, I'm just learning to use this camera and my eyes are getting older than I admit to being. This is my favorite, you can see Jeeves' sparkling wit escaping and enriching the atmosphere.

that was super Sarah and very very much better than the last one I went to in 2006. I was chatting to a newbie who said he was blown away that the Munich expat community was organised eough to have a choir and orchestra ad I have to say I was too! Made me proud to be part of Toytown Munich. Peter had whale of a time too!

Thanks Sara for a fantastic evening.

And thanks Keydeck for persistence paying off and finally capturing a good picture of me!

My feet hurt, my back hurts, I'm tired because a reminder on my cell phone about someone's birthday went off at 9am but all of this means nothing against my delight in how well the evening went yesterday. Special thanks to mjdavey, rogerm, the orchestra and the choir. Their performance showed dedication and verve and gave the evening a special touch.

Edda the Beautiful (see Keydeck's picture of her) said that the evening was stressful but the guests weren't, proving that ex-pats on the piss don't always end up as a bad example on a reality show.

There were a couple of glitches, I can only beg pardon for the lack of communicaton. And for once, Secret Santa gifts were bartered; I ended up with a very nice pedicure set for which I want to thank the giver.

Thank you all for your kind remarks yesterday and on this thread. I don't regret the effort I put into this event when I hear and read all the positive feedback.

Merry Christmas to all, Happy New Year, keep safe and take care.

Yeah that girl was beautiful and I freely admit I told her.

It was a great night Eric the Ham , Jeeves, and Brummie(sp?) were funny although it got nostalgic with the references to the TB, The Arc, GMs , and how at one time Schwabing was little Toytown. Thanks to NOFX for bringing me the crockpot, and dealing with my chaos. Also I got to see a lot of faces I had not seen in a while and man there were a ton of peeps I did not know although I did not try to. As always KD had his A Game in play, and it was cool to get to catch up with MAM.

Thanks for getting it all together Sara well done... well done.

Thanks Sara for the organizing. Bit squishy at times but a good night in the end.

My contribution in the gallery, with similar comments to Sara re those who don't want their photos up (can't think why Victoria).

Did you think I wouldn't see that comment, Mr. Ged?? Thanks to a delayed plane, I am sitting here all packed up, no place to go, surfing the net.

The picture is however quite tame compared with one shot by a certain compatriot of yours, which I fear will be posted while I am not around to protest!
