Patch Barracks USAF Club

I was stationed there from 1973-1975.  As there were many good times there, it began my journey into alcoholism.  I describe my times there as similar to the MASH show.  (Not sure who would be Klinger.)      Our offices were on the first floor, the "barracks" on the third and the  Lunchroom in the basement.  Monday-Friday would be work in the office until 11:30, go drink at the Lunchroom, go back to the office at 1:00, to the lunchroom at 4:30 and go to bed around 10:00.  Yes, there were many characters there: Smitty, Kenney, Piesik, Tlbott, Miller, Nealy,  PW, Freddie, Rogers, Hopkins, Renaldo....   All and many others listed on the goodbye beer stein.

@NYSomers: I'm not sure if you noticed, but you're posting on a 10-year-old thread and every who posted on it left the forum years ago.

If you're looking for a place to have an old home week, I'm afraid this ain't it.

I sincerely hope you've managed to get a handle on your alcoholism.
