Addictions and destiny

I like water. I like Thai food. I like Dunkel Beer. I like dark hair. I like English girls. I like Guache. I like Cyanographs. I like sepia tones. I like to ignore people. I like random conversations with people. I like sending random PMs. I like ED Bob (Ratisbon!)

These are things I am qualified to say. I have the certificate for this. It has Passport United States of America written in front (with my picture of me with short hair in back I was so handsome back then). I value my Oregon drivers license more though.

Seeing as I'm not going back due to mental incompatability I suppose I should disregard that bit of advice as well.

Probably a sensible outcome. If you feel the need to undermine qualify their perspective to such an extent as this, then you need to find other options / therapeutic styles that suit you better. :)

Thanks for you resume, care to post your IQ next?

Just in case there's some doubt as to how awesome you are

Seems it was that American 'humor' we have been hearing about. Sadly, I am never going to understand it. :(

Edit: seems like that gripping information has now been edited out. Shame.

American humor tends to be banal, unlike the highly sophisticated British sense of it. Don't try to understand something which is clearly very below your refined sensibilities.

One should never underestimate the vaule of lost in translation. E.g.

I spoke to a shrink last week ...

To me, that read as I was chatting to someone that I met socially in a bar or a TT event and I thought I would start a general thread. Apparently, in Amiland speak that means that I was receiving psychiatric medical attention and this thread is more specifically about my experience.

That nuance of understatement was completely lost on me.

I spoke to a shrink last week as opposed to I am undergoing extensive psychological exploration and in-depth treatment. Like a GP taking medical history before referring you to a specialist.

I think some of you are addicted to the word loose for some reason, I just can't understand some of these posts talking about loosers, WTF is a looser!

ok rant over, but please learn the difference between looser and LOSER, it's driving me mental.
