Not sure what you are offering. All scheduled and budget airlines sell all their seats online these days, and the online prices. There is no way to get them cheaper for the traveller. If you are a registered travel agency, and subscribed to the international booking systems, then you can get your commission, but that's it.

 

So what can you offer that is not possible online?

Sorry completely wrong - I have flown to Dublin from Berlin with Aer Lingus on a number of occassions for less that 160 Eur. Aer Lingus, Ryanair and EasyJet guarantee that the online prices are the cheapest. Sites like Opodo will always get you the cheapest available schedule fares - I know I've used them and compared.

 

Sure if someone is too lazy to learn basic internet usage, then they can pay a premium to a travel agent - and if there is enough business there, good for you. What do you mean the not everyone can buy things on the internet. All you need is a web browser, and a credit or debit card - the only thing you can't do is pay by cash.

 

Travel agents around the world have been going bankrupt for years now. The ones that have survived, have either been bought up by the big travel companies, or specialise in niche markets such as specialist tours etc.

By the way, I just went to the Aer Lingus web site and got a price for Munich-Dublin-Munich - leaving 5 September, returning 16 September. The total price, including all taxes: 145.07 Eur.

 

So sorry, mate you are more expensive than online.

But this is not the case with us.

The dates you mentioned I can give it for 128 eur. Now check the dates for 5 to 15 sept. Can you find it for 160 eur???

Correct, 15 September would cost another 74 Euro. However garabaldi did not ask for specific dates, he asked for prices at the start of September, so I assume he would travel back on the 16th if he want's the best price.

 

Again, if you are going to offer the prices you say, either you are going to loose alot of money or Aer Lingus are lying on their web site. I quote form the Aer Lingus web site:

 

aerlingus.com displays the lowest available fare for your selected travel dates at the time of booking.

I personally wouldn't choose to book through a business that normally specialises in unlocking mobile phones, but it's not correct to say that the cheapest fares are always found online. Travel agents are frequently still able to find lower prices, particularly for long-haul flights.
