I am part of various book clubs and really like reading. But one thing I love even more is watching movies. So
my idea, together wtih a few friends is to start a movie club. And what would be more fitting to start this in Berlin,
then with the movie 'Der Himmel ueber Berlin' - in other countries also known as 'wings of desire'. A good example
of titles change in other cultures... More about that when we meet for our post movie discussion.
My idea is that I will let people know when I will watch the movie, in case some people want to go together - but
obviously anyone can go and see it anytime they want - similar to a book club - but we would meet for talk and
drinks on May 2nd at the Quasimodo - starting around 7pm.
The Quasimodo is a bar, part of the Delphi Kino in Charlottenburg on the Kantstrasse.
Das Quasimodo Restaurant, ist ein fester Bestandteil der Westberliner Kulturszene. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet
sich der Delphi Filmpalast, Delphi Lux, das Theater des Westens und die Vaganten Bühne Berlin.

I ready to upgrade my entertainment lifestyle, looking at a pay-per-month (or per view) service for streaming TV and movies.
I don't care so much for the latest releases; I'm more interested in the classics (like watching Fantastic Voyage again) and the Star Trek and Star Wars movies I missed. I also want to catch up on The Big Bang Theory and Better Call Saul. I've never even seen a trailer for ST: Discovery.
I tried Hulu but they don't seem to be international-friendly. They rejected my debit card because they said it doesn't allow recurring payments, but I think it has more to do with where I am (I live in Munich, and the card is from a bank there).
Netflix giveth and Netflix taketh away -- they seem to be too quick to pull anything that isn't latest-and-greatest.
I don't know much about Amazon Prime, but I heard that if you're an Amazon Prime member, you get free shipping, but the list prices of everything goes up. Is that true?
They are all eager to sign you up but getting information about what they actually offer seems very difficult.
Could somebody suggest something based on the above parameters?
