  1. Thanks to you all. I think i start by finding out from these offices if i am eligible to these offers or not. I will search for contact numbers or email on the website and take the first step. Bless you
  2. This is very useful information. I glanced through it. I will start by calling them on Monday and sending an email tonight. Thanks a million.
  3. My German is very good. Not perfect but very good. Thanks to my first daughter who speak German at home and my man for making me do the courses over and over again. These attitudes from landlords haven’t changed at all. That i know. As long as you are black they start assuming. I always have a plan B as Germany is very unpredictable area for a black . I am thinking of going back to NRW if Berlin will be a headache. There i can quote my landlords if they need to find out about me or i can ask someone a German friend or ex colleague to help intervene . (Sign contract together if that’s the only possibility). In a community where you know a few people who trust you , there’s always a way out.Crossing my fingers.
  4. Non-EU Student pregnant with a German father

I have kids and in my former city a friend of mine had a similar situation. Just like some people adviced here. There two most important people you will need in this situation is Jurgenamt and a lawyer. Report there as fast as possible but please don’t make any trouble with this guy because you will need him to do a Vaterschaftstest or recognition.Once you follow these steps. Everything will hopefully go well with the rest of your plans.Bless you
  5. How to start modelling in Germany

I have worked in Germany as a photo model, gallery model, commercial, pregnant model for outfits and so on but it was all part time.so i will be straight forward with the answer.  Do you have self confidence? If yes then let no one discourage you. Do you have any experience with the camera? Is it your passion or are you just looking for the cash? It should be your passion if not you will be misled.  How do you begin? Create a profile with Model Kartei, ask for TFP exchange with photographers and create a massive portfolio in different domains within 3 to 6 months. When you have a confident portfolio to look for paid job, then start applying with rtl, documentary, newspaper and so on for jobs. There are lots of model jobs but just for very descipline and responsible models with experience.  Hope this helps.
  6. Moving from Düsseldorf to Manchester

I moved last September to Manchester and had lot of stuff to move over. The shipping companies all had several consequences after investigation so I finally moved boxes 📦 by post. I can’t quite remember the cost for 10 kg, but that was my best option to post all my boxes to a friends place before moving there. But you can try making inquiries with several shipping companies to find out the conditions before you decide.
  7. I use to live in Meerbusch and worked at the airport for about 6 months and it was quite accessible with personal transport.(15mins drive). There is also a very Good connection with the bus from Meerbusch Büderich directly to the airport. Tramps and trains are very well connected but you will always have to leave maybe an hour before work time . Meerbusch is a very quiet residential area and good for people who work in Düsseldorf and want to stay out but nearby. There are furnished apartments for short stay and some few cheap hotels(nothing big or fancy).Hope this helps.
  8. Thanks for all your advice. I think it will be better for me to move back to NRW where i worked, lived and know more people, though it’s not my favourite place to live as far as opportunities are concerned but it‘s going to be the fastest solution when it comes to housing. Thanks again for the links, I will keep on digging in, one never knows.
  9. Thanks for the comment. I am aware of all this . What I forgot to mention and no body asked  is if I have any savings or income at the Moment.Yes i do! Based on some commercial work I did, I do have a monthly income which is not much but if I add even a part time job to start with after I have my kids. It will be enough for us all.I also will have an OP Mädchen to make things easier. But that can only happen after I have a flat. Berlin is myfocus of Research here and how things work there. But I see most people are only Focused on my kids and not information about housing.. I have had a lot of useful housing information concerning the topic from here already and I can now decide if I want to go back to NRW or risk coming to Berlin. Thanks for contributing
  10. Yes please! I know that and appreciate these factors. But on the other hand , some people’s response here because I am going to have four  kids are unbelievable. They know nothing about my past or personality and should not generalise. I just have a difficult moment now looking for shelter back to Germany. My greatest challenge is having shelter , the rest of the procedures will not be a problem for me once as I give birth to my babies. Housing advice/help is the most I need now.If other women are having difficulties with four kids, I wouldn‘t . Housing is my number 1 need. Thanks for the advice.

  12. You know my focus was Berlin knowing who I am, how much I can get out of the city as far as jobs are concerned. I can go to any other dead zone but then I will have to fully depend on the government and I will not be able to meet my saving goals and targets. Thanks for the inquiries
  13. I really do not know if you really want to understand my immediate need  and advice me on that or you want to judge me. Read properly! Adding a word or substracting could change an entire meaning. I will answer your doubts though. Have 3 infants doesn‘ t limit you from making an extra income if you want. you can organise yourself and do anything as long as you are willing. If you are competent and have a child care allocation, you will get a job. Jobs don‘t depend on your number of Kids. Jobs depend on your willingness , brains, competence and personality compared to the description.I have not asked for help here on how to look for a job or childcare help. I am asking on information about quick/cheap housing possibilities. I believe in handling things stage by stage . That’s why I am able to handle the rest of the stages once I can have a shelter. Do I make more sense to you now?  Secondly I never said I have lived in Germany long enough. I said NOT long enough. And I have never been in a situation of need like this so I know very little about social assistance. There are lots of customer service jobs in Germany. It just depends on how you present your cv, how willing you are to work and organise yourself. So how I intend to get work. Just leave that to me . I am more interested in researching on how to get quick accommodation on my return . I will handle the rest when I have a roof on my head. Thanks for your reply .
  14. Yes! you are very right. But security is a big issue. If you have stayed in Germany before then you will be able to compare the difference and understand the alarm. Lots of mental health people in the streets and buses. Daughter was attacked in the bus twice in the midst other people as the culprit wanted to seize her phone. Stabbing at the shopping centers ( metal health people stabbing), my daughter was in a gymnasium in Germany, she was also excited moving to Manchester for a Change after my mans death but since we came here she complains that the students fight regularly, the study plan is not effective enough, and she advised me we move back since as we haven’t been here that long instead of settling here and she’s not happy with her school and security. As a mum, what would you expect me do? Stay here and enjoy the benefits of the job offers when my kids are not safe? Better I come back to Germany where i am already used to the system .And my kids are happy. Even if I earn little. Thanks for the advice.
  15. Thanks Lisa and Leon. I am still learning how to reply messages here so hopefully I am doing it right. @Leon; i will definitely not want to wait for this 3 years and depend on Hart 4 . I am a Cyber Security Analyst, but considering my past work history, I have been working as a part time model, a customer service or cashier at Jamie Oliver, affiliate marketing representative for products . So these are jobs I could do all at once and achieve a moderate salary where I could Safe some money.Despite my struggles in life, I am very positive and determined so i like working and achieving my goals . Thanks for the advice
