    I'm in the same situation as TurMech, but I'm applying for Einbürgerung shortly. WIll the Transfergesselschaft period & 67%salary be accepted for Einbürgerung process? Or do I need a full-time job relevant to my qualification for Einbürgerung?     Thanks, Jeba. I'm trying exactly the same, but unsure if it will work. I still have not submitted my Einbürgerung application, and I don't know how long HR could delay the termination. (Checking T&C). If I lose my job half-way through the Einbürgerung process, will my application be on hold until I get a new job?  I'm trying to weigh the safer option - extend the resignation by a few months (or) face the termination. If I'm terminated due to operational reasons, I assume my application won't be paused. Or am I wrong?

    Hi, My post is regarding the loss of job after submission of the Einbürgerung application (7 years residence). Are there immigration lawyers/consultants on Toytown Germany?   I'm about to submit my Einbürgerung application in a couple of weeks, but it could be that I may be affected by a mass lay-off at work. If I'm on the list, I may have to choose between a voluntary resignation with a package or face termination. If I'm terminated, it will be for operational reasons, and not for behavior/discipline. Will this reason (betriebsbedingte kündigung) be accepted by the Einbürgerung authority as per the below text, and continue the processing of the application? Will this be accepted by the authority as 'sufficient means for livelihood'? Further, my wife is working, so no trouble with "means for livelihood". But I'm the main applicant, while she is a dependent applicant (<5 years in Germany). Will her income be accepted by the authority?   If there are TT members that have direct experience in this kind of situation or can direct me to the experts, it will be great.    Thank you in advance.
