  1. Mike, the people elected their government.  America didn't.  Some countries are better off being a non-democratic institution.  Let them evolve on their own.  Who gives the EU or the American government the right to back arm insurgents?  That in itself is a form of racism.  These countries don't know any better and they did it to themselves.

America is preventing China from bailing out Lebanon because America doesn't want China to have a foothold in that region.  So American thinking is that it is better to create chaos and have people starve and engage in a civil war than have the Chinese in the area.

  2. Coronavirus

Even today most test kits are produced in China.  Germany is one of the very few countries that do in fact produce the test kit. Spain had to return 640,000 test kits back to China.  The WHO is the one who supplied Tanzania with these test kits. Even if the test kits were produced elsewhere as an example of China or even in Germany.   As many of you have said, these tests do not represent the true numbers of the Coronavirus.   I do enjoy the rather subtle racist remarks regarding corruption in Africa.  With many European countries still being an influencing factor on the continent who is more corrupt?   The President of Tanzania started questioning the number in his country so he became creative and demonstrated how pointless these tests were as well as the reagents agents were also imported.   President of Tanzania  From Wiki John Pombe Magufuli (born 29 October 1959), is a Tanzanian politician and the President of Tanzania, in office since 2015. He is also the chairman of the Southern African Development Community.[1] First elected as a Member of Parliament in 1995, he served in the Cabinet of Tanzania as Deputy Minister of Works from 1995 to 2000, Minister of Works from 2000 to 2006, Minister of Lands and Human Settlement from 2006 to 2008, Minister of Livestock and Fisheries from 2008 to 2010, and as Minister of Works for a second time from 2010 to 2015.[2] Running as the candidate of the ruling party in Tanzania (CCM), he won the October 2015 presidential election and was sworn in on 5 November 2015. Magufuli's presidency has been marked by a focus on reducing government corruption and spending and also investing in industries in Tanzania. I love it.  Because he is a leader of an African country he is a dictator.  Talking about being subtle. Dr John Magufuli is not a parrot or a person who follows propaganda.  He asks questions.
  3. Coronavirus

I am rather surprised that major news organisations haven't ran with this story:
  4. German Toilet Paper

Just use Kleenex or a similar brand if the shops don't have TP.  A lot softer than the local shite.
  5. How the mayors in Italy are responding to those who break the curfew.
  6. Cancel holiday over corona virus?

My point is that Lufthansa may start canceling flights to the states.  It isn't about masking your country of departure.
  7. Cancel holiday over corona virus?

Fortunately or not the position of the German government is having an open-door policy.     For those flying to the States and you're not having any symptoms, fly into Dublin and go through the US Preclearance Facility at the airport in Dublin.  It is similar to that of a US domestic flight when you land.  No passport control.
  8. Weinstein convicted

Have you seen any Korean dramas where a wealthy CEO, seen earlier in the show playing golf and attending parties, shows up in court in a wheelchair because he has been charged with corruption?  I feel that Harvey has taken a cue from them.
  9. Coronavirus

Can you please quote your source that regular flu has killed 25,000 people in Germany.  Is that number from the beginning of time?  Unfortunately, the Coronavirus does mimic flu-like symptoms in some cases.
