  1. Deposit not returned after 7 months

I was there for less than a year, so never saw a heating bill. The company was willing to accent ending my contract prematurely as I could prove I was leaving the country, plus they had new tenants pretty much straight away so certainly didn't loose any money.

  3. Deposit not returned after 7 months

Hello all, I moved away from Germany at the end of February. The lettings company I was renting from paid back a part of my deposit but held on to some of it in case there were any unpaid bills. I paid my electricity bill (which was oddly large for a single person) and still waiting for my heating bill from the lettings company as they own the whole building. So my question is, how long can they hold on to my deposit, is there a deadline by which they have to issue all bills. I read different time scales on posts here in Toytown so would like to clarify. It has been 7 months for me and they didn't answer the last email I sent them a week ago. Thanks for any help.
