  5. This week we have a Toytown reservation for 7:30 pm at Garam Masala, Radlsteg 1 off the Tal., 80331 München. http://www.garam-masala.de/ Nearest station: Marienplatz or Isartor all S-Bahn´s also going to Marienplatz U3, U6 and bus 52, 132.    1. ex-essex (Paul)  2. Emma  3. Lisa  4.
  6. Due to Toytown becoming less popular, we've been trying Eventbrite for a while as well as Toytown to publicise curry nights and had a few people come to the curries from it, but the UI is not great for setting up events. I found another site, more like meetup, which looks good and was very easy to use, so I set up an event there:   https://www.downtomeet.com/Munich-Curry-Night/19-30-Wed-3rd-Oct-2018-Bombay-Tandoori-Rosenheimerstr-75-81667-Mnchen-1873909/members   However I discovered that although free currently, they will start charging some time.   Other sites I've looked at are http://getmeetingstar.com and http://groupspaces.com which are both free. Maybe a Facebook page might be useful.   I think the key these days is something which works well on portable devices, either as a web site or an App. Meetup has that, but it's too expensive.   Anyway, would be good to find opinions tomorrow.
  7. Hi everyone,   an old favourite this Wednesday, the Bombay Tandoori in Rosenheimerstr. Small, with a relatively short menu, but more than made up by the quality of the food.   As usual, add your name to the list:   1. LisaJK 2.
  8. Hiking in the Bavarian Alps · Next one: TBD

OK, thanks. I was in the UK for a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll be able to make one of them before the end of the year.
  9. Hiking in the Bavarian Alps · Next one: TBD

Hi guys, what's happened to this group? I'd like to do a few day hikes, but not seen anything this summer here.
  10. Hi everyone, this week we have a table reserved at a new restaurant, the Punjabi grill and bar in Linwurmstr.   https://www.punjab-grill.de   I tried it a few weeks ago and the food was excellent. For those who like meat, this place has beef (not all Indian restaurants do).   Please sign up if you are coming (copy and paste the list below), latest 17:30 on Wednesday.   1. LisaJK 2.
