Which Model 3 did you buy?  If you got an SR+ then watch this video about the 2 different battery chemistries that Tesla uses in the SR+.  It might be the case that you should be charging to 100% at least once per week to keep the remaining charge display accurate.

AC means cooling only, and AC in summer is not bad at all for range. Barely noticable.   Heat in winter affects range to a much greater extent, but as Mike says, newer models have a heat pump, which lessens this a lot. How much? I dunno. I have the old-style resistive heater.
  5. How do you find Austrian German?

    I drive south.

that's much better than my delivery -- it was about 20%.  which options did you choose?  Color?  Wheels?  etc.

Maybe I'm bringing facts to a mud fight but...   All new electric cars since mid-2019 come with noisemakers which are active (in the EU) at speeds below 19 kph.   https://www.bbc.com/news/business-48815968

@DanglingPointer   Make sure you get a number plate with an E at the end. It's required for public charging in Munich, as is a Parkscheibe. I bought an electronic one from that asshole who goes to space for fun. Look up "needit park lite" on the interwebz.

SWM charging stations work with an app (MVG more) or with a card.    I generally avoid using apps for charging if possible because a) mobile phone service is not always good and 2) if something goes wrong your cable can remain locked to the charging station.  If you start the session with a card, the card can usually (like >99% of the time) unlock your cable, and D) using a card is simply a lot faster.

The AirElectric App (iOS and Android) does a good job of showing the prices of various cards at any particular charging station.   I recently got a card from FreshMile. They have very good prices (~25¢ / kWh @ 11kW) but they do not work at SWM chargers.  There are a lot of compatible chargers in Munich, though. Check out their map at FreshMile.com.

I charge at SWM chargers almost exclusively.  ADAC/EnBW used to be the best deal, but that changed at the beginning of July (0.42€/kWh A/C at non EnBW chargers + ADAC membership).  Now the best deal* is the SWM card (the swm.emobility link you posted): 0.38€/kWh + 5€ for the card).    *There are better deals, but most of them rely on you living in a small town with a small local Stadtwerke where you can "roam" at SWM's chargers for cheap.  Once the small Stadtwerke realizes you don't live in their area they cancel your card.    I read about elvah when it came out and getting the best deal requires more effort than I'm willing to put in.

The Models S and X are made in California.  Model 3 Performance and Long Range Dual Motor are also made in CA.  The Model 3 SR+ sold in Europe is made in China and the soon to be available in Europe Model Y is made in China until the factory near Berlin is up and running.

We've been to Croatia twice and it was super simple.  There are sufficient superchargers along the way plus there is free charging all over Croatia.  Use Next Plug (Android) or AirElectric (Android/iOS) to find them.  A Better Route Planner is also good.

Tiny Netherlands doesn't have BMW, VW, etc. pulling the strings?
  16. Tesla Gigafactories, News and Conversation

The "problem" with the supercharger at Pasing is that you cannot get your shopping done before the car is finished charging, lol.    The Supercharger at OEZ is chronically blocked by ICE cars apparently, so that station is not currently viable.  Pasing does not have that problem.

I do not park overnight at a charging station.  1) there's no need to; the car is usually "full" (90% state of charge) within 4 hours.  2) It's my opinion that one should free up the spot for others to charge, even if it's late at night and even if the rules allow you to leave the car there all night (until 8am the next day).  Most people wouldn't park in front of a gas pump, either.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯   I would contact Tesla directly and forget going through car wow.    If you are susceptible to incontinence I suggest you wear diapers for the test drive. The acceleration is incredible.

I have a Model 3 in Munich, and it is not a problem at all for me to charge publicly.  There are 4 SWM chargers within view from by balcony.  Sometimes on the weekends it's tough to get a spot to charge, but during the week it's never an issue.  And since I've been in home office for 1.5 years, I can always charge during the day if necessary.  But with a Model 3 LR, I honestly only have to charge once per week unless we do a long trip -- in which case I charge to full before we depart and then maybe we need to charge on the way, depending on where we go.    Do not assume you can just charge while shopping.  With the explosion of Tesla and now VW, not to mention the PHEVs, there are rarely available chargers at Lidl, Aldi, etc.  One's time is more valuable than saving 10€ on a charge session by waiting a half an hour for a free spot to open up.    Anyway, the onus is on you to determine where the public chargers near you are and how busy they are.  Here's SWM's map.  I live outside of the DriveNow business area, which means that the chargers here are not blocked for days on end by DriveNow cars.  Hopefully you are in the same situation.
  19. Tesla Gigafactories, News and Conversation

My SF was at 0.5 when I bought a Model 3 LR in 2019 because I'd never owned a car in Europe and the last car I owned was over 10 years before in the US.  So I went with a Pauschal-type policy specifically for EVs for 1000€ a year.  Anyone over 24 can drive my car.  I've had 1 claim (a ~4,000€ fender+bumper scrape) and no problems getting reimbursed.  The policy is offered by die Bayerische.

I have tried to spin out in an empty snow-covered parking lot in a dual-motor Model 3 and it was impossible.  I didn't bother trying to set slip-start.  Maybe with a running start it would have worked.
  21. Things to ponder

I like Brent Terhune (also on youtube).  He looks and talks like a right-winger but he's pointing out how ridiculous they are (via satire).  He is my people.
  22. What are you cooking today?

There is a new style of bacon at Edeka (possibly other supermarkets too).  Tulip now sells SUPER-thick "grill bacon."  It's smoked, streaky, and a 250g package contains 5 honkin'-thick strips.  It's also "seasoned" with paprika on the edges.  It's mostly just food coloring if you ask me.    One word:  glorious.    I baked them on Backpapier, and they are a bit messy in that they render an amazing amount of bacon fat.  200°C Heißluft+Umluft for about 10 or 15 Minutes.
  23. Changing Bank - is internet banking a viable solution

Yes, I used the switching service.  It was easy to find once I got the DKB Account set up.  There's a menu item for it on the left when you log in with your cryptic xxxxxxxxxx_p username.  If it's not easy to find, log in and do a search on "Kontowechselservice"
  24. Changing Bank - is internet banking a viable solution

I switched to DKB from HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit) for this exact reason --> 9€ a month?  FU, HVB.    I am not unhappy with DKB, but I wish it hadn't come to it.  Huge hassle.
  25.   I would suggest getting another hobby.
