  1. Changing Bank - is internet banking a viable solution

I don't want anything to do with credit cards, does the free girokonto come with this or is it optional?
  2. Changing Bank - is internet banking a viable solution

I see also Santander has a free comission account from what they say? Anybody with them?
  3. Changing Bank - is internet banking a viable solution

Ok course Trade Republic. Thanks for feedback 😊
  4. Changing Bank - is internet banking a viable solution

Anybody that is with Klarna or Traders public? Do you know if all the banks will have a limit from which they will charge interest? I think Commerzbank is 50k and 0.5%.

Hello, to be honest I didn't really understand if DKB is free without any monthly income, I want just to park some money into it to avoid the taxed that are coming on the accounts from autumn. What do you know about Klarna Bank, they are also saying that they have no commision?

Is the account free if you don't have any monthly income? From what I saw in the terms it isn't.
  7. Changing Bank - is internet banking a viable solution

Hello, same situation here, looking for alternatives to Commerzbank for a second girokonto without any income that would have the lowest fees or zero is possible. Until now I found Santander, DKB and HVB that have also physical locations. Of course there are lots of other online banks, I think even Trade Republic is now a bank and offers a girokonto and very good options if you want to buy some ETFs?
  8. The laws about employees and Kurzarbeit

My German is not perfect but my understanding is that this is between the employer and the employee, also depending also on the field of work, for example if you work in IT and you can do your work remote I guess getting back to work would mean just turning on your laptop and connecting to the VPN, wherever your are in the world. Of course if your boss knows you are not locally and asks you to be at the office ASAP then I don't know what the consequences may be...
  9. The laws about employees and Kurzarbeit

Still, what is the reasonable time you should be back for work in case of Kurzarbeit? Has this been cleared before?
  10. The laws about employees and Kurzarbeit

Ok, but if you are on Kurzarbeit for the whole 2021 until now, then I guess you have no right to holiday?
  11. The laws about employees and Kurzarbeit

Do you have right to holiday if you are on 100% Kurzarbeit? Aren't the holidays proportional to the worked days for the current year? I knew that this situation was still open, if you still have the right to holidays when in Kurzarbeit 100%.
  12. The laws about employees and Kurzarbeit

Kurzarbeit 0 or 100% depends how you see it.
  13. The laws about employees and Kurzarbeit

Thanks! What if it is KUZ0? Should you give notice that you go, is it reasonable for you to return Tuesday if they ask you to work on Monday? How grey is this area?
  14. The laws about employees and Kurzarbeit

No, I don't work weekends, forgot to mention this.
  15. The laws about employees and Kurzarbeit

Hello, is it possible during the Weekend in Kurzarbeit to leave Germany and fly and return on Monday, or you must stay in Germany. What is the reasonable time that you have to be available for your employer?
