    Personally I think it will be better to vote in UK (I'm in the same situation), reason being that the vote in the UK is being billed as an indication of the current opinions on Brexit, so your vote has a greater value there.

    Mine arrived after 8 days, seems like everything else to do with the process there can be big differences between how long each step takes (and even if they are all needed).

    Yes, as bramble says, those already with dual citizenship will not have to give up either in the case of no-deal - the only way German citizenship can be rescinded is in the case of obtaining a third citizenship, joining a foreign army or engaging in terrorist activities (and similar things)
