German Work Permits for EU citizens
If you are a citizen of the European Union (EU) you do not require a permit to work in Germany. All you need to do is register your residence in Germany after you arrive. This residence registration should be done with 7 days after your arrival. Residence registration is known in German as "Anmeldung". In Munich the residence registration is to be carried out in person at the "Kreisverwaltungsreferat" (KVR for short) which is located at Poccistrasse. More info:

EU member states are: Great Britain, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Finnland, Denmark, Greece.
In 2004 the following countries were added to that list: Malta, Cyprus, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia, Czech Republic.
The following countries are currently candidates to join the EU: Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, Macedonia.
