The Tierheim Muenchen is actually a "Tierschutzverein" or "Animal protection union". They offer care not just for dogs but for all animals.

Visiting times are Wednesday to Sunday: 1pm to 4pm.
If you find a stray animal they can be turned in daily from 9am to noon, and from 1pm to 5pm.
