Stuttgart is the state capital of Baden-Württemberg.

• Wilhelma - Combined zoo and botanical garden. Previously a royal garden.
• TV tower - Great views from the observation deck. World's tallest concrete tower.
• Ludwigsburg Schloß - Palace in nearby Ludwigsburg. Large gardens and grounds with smaller Schloß Favorite nearby in game park.
• Schloß Solitude - Small palace near Stuttgart with some nice views.
• Porsche Museum - New museum opened in January 2009.
• Corso - The Corso theater in Vaihingen shows movies in English.
• Staatsgalerie - The Staatsgalerie is a well-known art museum.
