Saxony - Germany

Saxony (German: "Sachsen") is one of the sixteen federal states of Germany. The capital city is Dresden. The German name for Saxony is Sachsen. Note that this state is not to be confused with the two other states called Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) and Saxony-Anhalt (Sachsen-Anhalt).
