Prenzlauer Berg is a city district in Berlin.
Known also as Pberg or P-Berg. Recommended area as a place to live. It's such a buzzing place: loads of quaint pub and bars, a great nightlife and an absolutely unbeatable flair. Also, lots couples with children. The specific area of P-berg affects the proximity to night life/children.
See Good_areas_to_live for details and a comparison of districts.
Comments: In 2004, I lived in Pberg. My friend and I had read an article on how Pberg has the most young couples with children - out if all the districts. Generally, West Berlin has more retired folk and poshy types. When we hung out in the park, on any day, it was all stroller action! But it still has its funky charm.
Comments: PBerg is the most 'fertile' neighbourhood in all of Germany, at least according the newspaper article I read, a while back. A walk around Köllwitz Platz seems to confirm this, too.
