Posting of news links
When starting a new topic about a news story, be sure to:- Post a link to the source of the story, the place that you read about it
- Include an extract from the source article, say the first paragraph or around 80 words
- Place the extract within quote tags like this: [1]Extract goes here[2] - this makes it clear which text is the source, which text is your own
- Include some words of your describing your own thoughts on the story.
Do not simply post the URL with the text "check this out". That is lame. Instead show some imagination and originality, otherwise the post is likely to be removed without warning.
