Odeonsplatz U-Bahn art display

Take the U-Bahn U3 or U6 to Odeonsplatz, and exit the platform in the direction of the city center. At the top of the escalators, in the upper-underground level, you'll see a large window-space which houses an art exhibit. The exhibit changes every two or three months. Currently on display (May/June 2004) is a set of paintings by the kids from Lichtblick Hasenbergl - a day care center for 60 of Munich's least privileged children. The exhibit is very colourful and quite eye-catching. So if you happen to be passing by, take a quick look, and remember to smile at the Lichtblick Webcam! It transmits a photo to the internet every 10 seconds, you'll see the green LED blinking with every shot.
