Obersendling
Obersendling is located in the south part of Munich city area just one U-Bahn stop farther from the Munich Zoo in Thalkirchen (about 15 minutes by foot from Thalkirchen U-Bahn stop on the U3 and the Obersendling stop on the U3).Here is a map of the Obersendling Area
The Isar river is within walking distance as are several green parks including the Plinganserpark and Thalkirchen Camping area on the Isar.
The area is also noted for being "home" to Siemens which has several of it's divisions in the area.
