Monopteros
On top of a small artificial hill in the English Garden is this artificial ancient Greek structure.The Monopteros was built in 1836 under orders from King Ludwig I. On a clear day you get a great view from here over the Munich skyline and off into the Alps in the distance.
The Monopteros is located close to the Chinese Tower beer garden.
