Löwenbräu

Löwenbräu is a large city-centre brewery in Munich. It dates from 1383 and is the third largest of the Munich breweries. Its beers are exported around the world, especially to North America, but it has a poor reputation among locals and beer snobs alike. It was taken over by the international brewing conglomerate InBev (formerly Interbrew) in 2003. It is noted for its " Ein Bier wie Bayern" adverts, featuring beautiful alpine scenery.
