Leopoldstraße
Leopoldstraße is the main drag through Schwabing. It runs from the Siegestor at the top of Ludwigstraße, through Münchner Freiheit, and beyond through Milbertshofen to the the Frankfurter Ring.There are lots and lots of bars and cafés along Leopoldstrasse.
The street is also closed five or six times a year for various festivals and parades. These include the Streetlife Festival which happens twice, July and August, as well as the St. Patrick's Day Parade on the first Sunday before 17th March.
