Job listings

Toytown Germany has a page of English-speaking job listings for Germany. Posting of jobs to this listing is free of charge. Note that adverts must be posted in English language. Also note that jobs may only posted if the working language is English. Adverts posted in any language besides English, or adverts for jobs where the working language is not English, will be removed.

How to advertise a job vacancy

Before posting an advert you must first register an account. This is free of charge, but requires the registration of a valid email address. A validation email is automatically sent and you must click the link contained therein before the new account is activated. Once the account is created and validated, you should then log in.

Once logged in, find the correct area of the chat forum. Jobs adverts should be posted to the relevant local regional section. Here are the direct links to the different regional job sections:

• Munich | Berlin | Frankfurt | Hamburg | NRW | Stuttgart | Elsewhere and nationwide

Note that "NRW" includes Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Essen, etc.

Once in the correct area of the chat forum, you should then click the "new topic" button. The button looks like this...

This button is to be found towards the top right-hand side of the window. After clicking this topic, enter your message title, the message body, and then click submit. And that's it.

How to close a job advert

To close a job advert click the "close ad" button at the top right of your posting. The button looks like this...

Once closed the advert will be marked as closed by the little red "x" next to the title in the listings. The closed advert will be automatically removed from the system after 24 hours.
