In terms of acclimating to life in Munich, check out the

Once you get here, there's loads of ways to get involved - if you want to - with TT in real time. Check out the
Calendar for an event that suits you. Your German / random nationalities here Significant Others are is welcome to join any of the events too, if you like. You can also leave them at home and tell them you're going to a church group. I suppose its a religion of sorts and this here forum is the chapel. If there's nothing that fits with your schedule or interests, feel free to post an event, any type of event that you'd like to host. Be sure not to feed the trolls but you can, if you like, feed the animals. The general food of choice is beer and curry. You're also welcome to just lurk like 4,700 other people.
