Internet cafes
There are several
internet cafes in Munich.
The largest and best known is
easyEverything opposite the
Hauptbahnhof.
Also there are two internet cafes in
Motorama on
Rosenheimer Straße near the
Gasteig.
There's an internet cafe, €1 for 30mins, at
Max-Weber-Platz in
Haidhausen. Nice atmosphere, new screens + headphones for
Skype! Name escapes me. Come out of Max-Weber-Platz U-bahn, and head east on
Einsteinstraße for about 50m. It's there on your right.
There's a large-ish internet cafe called
misc24 in
Tal, on the left-hand side after
Conrad, if you're walking towards
Isartor, apparently open round the clock, possible to plug in laptops, also good linux support there.
The internet cafe at the
Galeria Kaufhof in
Rotkreutzplatz is very good, if you are a regular user you can get a login name, and use what you have paid for but not used later. It has Excel and Word facilities, plus headphones for sound.
There were two internet cafes, both run by the same people, one in the city center (kind of behind
Neuhauserstraße) and the other in
Neuhausen. Unfortunately the name and addresses escape me at the moment but I'm sure someone else will know what I'm talking about and add the essential information here. Update: I don't know the name, but I do know the one behind Neuhauserstrasse has shut.
Update: As of March 2008, the EasyEverything branch was closed. There is an internet cafe a few yards away in Coffee Fellows, Schützenstr. 14.
