Get a life

People using the phrase get a life generally have none themselves. If they do indeed have lives, they've been wasted as evidenced by their inability to express themselves articulately and pointedly, instead spewing meaningless and hackneyed phrases such as "get a life".

Usage is not recommended as it tells much more about the user of the phrase than the person at whom the comment is directed.
