Frankfurt International Airport is Europe's third largest airport. It serves 265 non-stop destinations, more than London Heathrow. It is the international hub of Lufthansa. Some 52.2 million passengers passed through the airport in 2005. It is also a major freight terminal. Plans for a third terminal and fourth runway are well advanced.
Note that Ryanair flights arriving in "Frankfurt" actually land at Frankfurt (Hahn), around 130km distant.
